Show Me

I am guilty of making excuses for people πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Someone shows their true colors and instead of saying β€œπ•‹π•™π•’π•Ÿπ•œ π•ͺ𝕠𝕦, 𝕠𝕙 π•˜π•£π•–π•’π•₯ π•¦π•Ÿπ•šπ•§π•–π•£π•€π•–, 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕑𝕣𝕠π•₯𝕖𝕔π•₯π•šπ•Ÿπ•˜ π•žπ•ͺ π•–π•Ÿπ•–π•£π•˜π•ͺ π•’π•Ÿπ•• π•€π•™π• π•¨π•šπ•Ÿπ•˜ π•žπ•– 𝕨𝕙𝕠 π•₯𝕙𝕖π•ͺ 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕝π•ͺ 𝕒𝕣𝕖 β€œwe seem to create a version of the story in our head that allows that person to become someone else. Someone who they really aren’t.

Why?

Because it’s hard for us to believe that anyone has different motives than us. It’s hard to believe that someone would actually π»π“Šπ“‡π“‰ π“Šπ“ˆ and just not care. It’s hard to understand that not everyone has the same heart as us. So instead of calling a spade a spade we dress it up all pretty in pink and pretend like it’s good for us.

I’m learning to let go. Let go of friendships, let go of hopes and let go of things that don’t serve me anymore. If it doesn’t make me feel good, it’s gone. No hard feelings, no hate, just a simple understanding that we are protected in ways that we need to start paying attention to. One of these ways is this....If they show you who they are, believe them and then run.

Have a great day friends! Take good care of each other and be well πŸ’«
