I am guilty of making excuses for people ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ Someone shows their true colors and instead of saying โ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐ ๐ฆ, ๐ ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ค๐, ๐๐ ๐ฃ ๐ก๐ฃ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐๐ช ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ช ๐๐๐ ๐ค๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐จ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐๐๐ช ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐๐ช ๐๐ฃ๐ โwe seem to create a version of the story in our head that allows that person to become someone else. Someone who they really arenโt.
Why?
Because itโs hard for us to believe that anyone has different motives than us. Itโs hard to believe that someone would actually ๐ป๐๐๐ ๐๐ and just not care. Itโs hard to understand that not everyone has the same heart as us. So instead of calling a spade a spade we dress it up all pretty in pink and pretend like itโs good for us.
Iโm learning to let go. Let go of friendships, let go of hopes and let go of things that donโt serve me anymore. If it doesnโt make me feel good, itโs gone. No hard feelings, no hate, just a simple understanding that we are protected in ways that we need to start paying attention to. One of these ways is this....If they show you who they are, believe them and then run.
Have a great day friends! Take good care of each other and be well ๐ซ
