When did being “kind” become so hurtful?

It can be, can’t it? We feel like we go out of our way for someone and treat them with extreme kindness, empathy and love and it backfires on us instead.

Makes you a little jaded and cautious, doesn’t it?

I know. I live this on the daily.

But I am asking you... please

Because you know what guys and gals? It’s 💯 not you. If you can walk away from a situation knowing deep down that you treated someone with kindness and they didn’t reciprocate 𝐼𝓉’𝓈 𝓃𝑜𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊.
