What I’m Speaking About at GLOW (and Why It Matters)

Have you ever caught yourself saying something to yourself that you’d never say to someone you love?
That quiet voice that tells you you’re not doing enough, not far enough, not strong enough. The one that picks apart your reflection, questions your choices, and whispers “who do you think you are?” right when you’re about to do something brave.
Yeah. That one.
This year at the GLOW Women's Event, I’m talking about our inner dialogue, the conversations we have with ourselves when no one else is listening. Because the truth is, those whispers shape everything.
The words we say inside matter even more than the ones we say out loud.
When that voice is filled with doubt, fear, or criticism, it can dim even the brightest light. But when we learn to shift that dialogue, to speak to ourselves with kindness, courage, and truth everything changes.
Confidence grows.
Purpose becomes clearer.
The flame inside starts to burn brighter.
I’ve lived both sides of this. I’ve been the woman who tears herself apart before anyone else can. The one who apologizes for taking up space, second-guesses her worth, and hides behind a smile that says “I’m fine.”
But I’ve also been the woman who decided to start speaking differently to herself. To say things like:
You’re allowed to be proud.
You’re doing your best.
You’re growing.
You’re enough.
And that shift, that internal rewiring, changed everything.
At the annual GLOW Women's Event, I don’t want women to just feel inspired for a day. I want them to walk away equipped; ready to carry a new, empowering conversation within themselves.
Because when we speak to ourselves like we would to someone we love, we start to live like someone who’s loved.
And that’s where the real glow begins.
