Ahhh yes. That yucky “love” word.
So much power comes from one little pretty four letter word. So much healing, so much strength and sometimes so much fear.
A few years back I got myself into a little pickle that eventually changed 𝐸𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 because I told someone that I loved them and they made me feel bad for it. So I stopped saying it for a long time.
It became a “not so pretty” four letter word and I was afraid to say it even when I wanted to shout it from the rooftops. (What does that even mean. I would probably call the police if my neighbor was on her rooftop shouting anything at all but you get the drift...) In time and with a tribe of people who made me feel loved and made it feel safe to love, I was able to say “I love you” freely again 💗
It’s ok to tell someone you love them. They might need to hear it more than you know. You might need for them to hear it more than they know. It doesn’t mean you’re romantically in “love” with someone. It means whatever you want it to mean. Imagine a world where we can just love one another and openly tell each other (hint...we live in this world so let’s take advantage of it) 💫
