Feel that tightening in your stomach? You know the one.....the churning, the jumpiness, the pit.

Removing whatever is stealing your peace is not going to be walk in the park. I compare it to getting your appendix out. Let’s discuss....
One day you wake up and you’re sick. Something inside of you is inflamed and about to fill your body with infection. You’ve lived with it for this long with no issues...but suddenly something that you didn’t give a second thought to has turned on you. It’s time to say goodbye to your “appendix” so you rush to the hospital and they prep you for surgery. Everyone is talking about it.... “pssst...did you hear?? Jonelle is having surgery.....gosh I hope she’s going to be ok” You wake up with a little scar and a whole lot of bloat-y cramping. 𝒲𝑒𝓁𝓁𝓁𝓁 𝓈𝒽𝒾𝓉 You thought that saying goodbye to your appendix was supposed to fix the pain, not cause more....but don’t worry, you have just saved your own life by taking the actions needed to get that sucker out of there before it killed you. In the days to come you will heal and once in a while you will run your finger over the tiny scar as a reminder of what you went through and that you are whole again..𝒶𝒽𝒽𝒽, 𝓅𝑒𝒶𝒸𝑒
This isn’t so different than saying goodbye to anything that doesn’t bring you peace. If you don’t do it, it’s going to swell and become toxic. If you DO say goodbye, it’s going to hurt and take some time to heal and it will seem like everybody is talking about it but eventually you’ll be able to run your finger over that scar too and when you do you’ll remember that you are whole again. Peacefully, perfectly, whole.
