I’m recycling ♻️ an older message today but felt like it was much needed.

My creative brain is in overdrive. It’s how I handle stress. This pandemic has forced me to get creative in order to keep our heads above water and in true Jonelle fashion, I’ve given myself multiple projects.

You see, if I’m not up against a deadline and feeling that slight adrenaline kick in then I’m doing something else- 𝒲𝑜𝓇𝓇𝓎𝒾𝓃𝑔

So, as you know if you follow our River Road Trio page, I’ve been knee deep in very basic video production (shout out to our PRO video producer Steve Rogers, I’m sure he’s cringing every time I post a Windows Movie Maker clip 🤣) and also knee deep in writing. Songs, blogs, vision boards, skits (Terry drew the line at skits 😩)

Anyway, the point is, I have been keeping my brain SO ultra occupied that sometimes I forget to rest. Ok, most of the time.

My screen time is up by 9000% and my eyes feel weird all of the time because I AM TIRED 💤 but I can’t seem to rest and I know that I need to recognize and honor that.

So this reminder is for you and me both.

It’s like a little golden nugget of energy. A way to unplug and plug into your well-being and an important part of our immune system staying A-Ok.

I am still in bed as a type this (ya’ll that takes a lot for me to admit😱)

But I feel so much better than I did when my head finally hit the pillow at 2:05 a.m.

Rest friends- we’ve been given this time to re set and I will try if you do too.
